Abstract:

The quantity of elderly people are growing very rapidly, so the services for elderly people based on intelligent and smart-tech must be created to replace the traditional services for the shortage of resource. The importance of involving users in the innovation process has recognized by academia for a long time, Living Lab is a user-centric open innovation approach for fostering everyday life innovation in real life contexts. This paper propose a Living Lab methodology framework of service design for the elderly people, which emphasis user co-creator, user co-test, real life context construct by information and communications technology (ICT). The experiment results shows that involving users, real textual constructing by ICT and collaboration are benefit to promote innovation performance.
