The Influence of Circulation Quenching on Temper Brittleness of Steel EA4T

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, for the purpose of seeking the control methods of temper brittleness of steel EA4T, doing some experiments on steel EA4T by circulation quenching process .Then do some research about the influence of circulation quenching on temper brittleness of steel EA4T.The result proves that circulation quenching can render grain refinement and restrain the temper brittleness of steel EA4T, thus contract the temperature range of carbide precipitation in high temperature tempering; the result indicate that Circulation quenching restrain the temper brittleness of steel EA4T at 550°C.
