Description

claw1dArena is a piece of software to aid the development and comparison of numerical techniques for one-dimensional conservation laws.

  • it is a C++ library to help building flexible numerical software for 1d conservation laws
  • its build system also generates executables for specific conservations laws (currently linear transport, Burgers', Saint-Venant and Euler gasdynamics), where all parts of the scheme (numerical flux, timestepper, reconstruction, well-balancing, etc) can be selected via command-line at runtime

History:

  • v1.0: first release, with CWENO and CWENOZ reconstructions
  • v1.1: added Adaptive Order CWENOZ reconstructions
  • v1.2: added no-ghost reconstructions
