Fixed effect, homogeneity tests, and random-effects meta-analysis in Microsoft Excel

1) fixed effect meta-analysis (following Hedges & Olkin 1985)
2) homogeneity tests (Q), and
3) random-effects meta-analysis using the DerSimonian & Laird (1986) method to estimate the between-study variance (tau-squared).
