Hubert Pelc studied chemistry at the RWTH Aachen and received his doctorate in the field of physical chemistry. He then worked for several years as a project coordinator for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research before being appointed editor and journalist.
In the course of his many years of work for various specialist publishing houses, he has devoted himself in particular to topics from the fields of industrial chemistry, materials and composite technologies and process engineering.
Since September 2017 he has been editor-in-chief of "adhäsion – adhesives + sealants" and team leader for the publishing division "Materials & Energies" at Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden.
