In this paper we examine how quality of MITS reconstructed slices depends on tomosynthesis acquiring total scan angle (
ANG
), number of input projections (
N
), number of reconstructed slices (
NS
) by measuring the modulation transfer function (MTF) of the reconstruction, and other, simulated phantoms. Our results suggest that
ANG
=40°,
N
=70,
NS
=150 can be the optimal combination for chest imaging, using our implementation of MITS for reconstruction.
