Methodology for Digitally Describing a Technological Semi-Product Smelting Process in an Electric Arc Furnace

Abstract

A methodology for developing models for digitally describing the process of smelting a semi-product in an electric arc furnace (EAF) is presented. The developed models are shown to facilitate the efficient smelting of scrap in terms of obtaining the optimal temperature for efficiently carrying out the dephosphorization process while reducing energy consumption in online mode.
