A modification of Genetic Algorithm capable of dealing with a diploid population is described. Each individual of such a population should be represented as a double bitstring chromosome. Both a procedure of creation of the initial population using genomic mutation and a version of gene dominancy evolution are suggested. Results of numerical experiments proving high search ability of the algorithm are presented.
