Zusammenfassung

As a theory of vocational behavior and counseling scheme, career construction comprehends careers as self-making and applies narrative methods to career intervention. In this chapter, I describe and illustrate use of My Career Story (MCS; Savickas & Hartung, 2012, 2021) as an autobiographical workbook that applies career construction principles to career intervention. I first offer a précis on career construction theory and practice, and on the Career Construction Interview that form the basis for the MCS. Then, I review the purpose, content, and uses of the MCS. A case example demonstrating the MCS concludes the chapter.
