Abstract
A new clogging diagnosis method was designed using the results of the statistical analysis presented in the previous chapter. The measured responses during RGL 4 tests are projected onto the first principal components of a sample of simulations, denoted \(s_{1}\). Then, this information is used in conjunction with the simulation sample to predict a weighted average of the 16 clogging ratios. The weights are the coordinates of the first e.d.r. direction, \({\upbeta }_{1,1}\), obtained with SIR. This chapter provides details about the implementation of this method as well as application examples with data from the French steam generator fleet.
