Non-Verbal Communication

Ian Baker had just had a flaming row with his wife and walked out of the house with the sound of his wife’s angry words echoing in his ears. While he sat impatiently in traffic jam after traffic jam, he went over in his mind what he would really like to have said to his wife (and to his mother-in-law, for that matter!) and arrived at work late, frustrated and angry. As he pushed open the swing doors he was met by the cheery smile and bright ’good morning’ of Jayne Pembroke, one of his most loyal and hard-working employees.
