The remote sensing of aerosol refractive index is attracting much more attention than other ways. Using the theoretical analysis method presented in the first part of this paper, a set of optimum scattering parameters is obtained according to the sensitivity of four stokes parameters at different angles for the usual range of refractive indices and some typical distributions. The numerical tests show that a higher accuracy of the refractive index, inverted by using the optimum parameters, can be obtained for the aerosol distributions (including the one of abundant large particles) observed in the atmosphere.
