Net system models are discussed from the point of view of the observations an observer can make on their behaviour. It is shown that while the behaviour of a contact-free C/E system, that can be considered as a “completely” specified system model, does not exhibit any difference depending on the kind of the observations the observer makes on it, the same is not true for safe net systems and for labelled safe net systems (considered as “incompletely” specified system models).
