Abstract

This chapter describes the work of PC Standards and Terminology, starting with the recording of the relevant terminology. With the development of the personal computer and the internet, attention moved from a printed version to an electronic version of the dictionary. This required working methods to be adapted and the development of software to create the intended webpage. The chapter describes the principal problems, discussions and decisions in the process which eventually resulted in the current version of the electronic dictionary.
