For accelerated response times, Deutz is pooling its development activities and creating a central contact point for all technical questions along the product cycles. Since June 1, 2018, Dr. Markus Müller has overseen the newly created Product Development & Technical Customer Support department and thus all activities in research and development, electrification, and the central technical customer interface. He reports directly to Deutz CEO Dr. Frank Hiller. Most recently, Müller was a member of the management board of a medium-sized automotive supplier, where he oversaw development, production and sales. The engine manufacturer expects the restructuring to provide targeted feedback on what customers need in terms of product development, and intends to ensure fast and professional processing within the organization.
