Abstract

In this paper for the first time, performance of 400 × 40 Gbps super dense communication system has been evaluated for triple binary (TB) modulation formats (NRZ, RZ and Manchester) in terms of output power, bit error rate (BER), quality factor, receiver sensitivity and different channel spacing respectively. Further, it has observed that TB-NRZ modulation format shows the remarkable outcome in the presence of RAMAN-EDFA-RAMAN hybrid optical amplifier. But performances recorded from TB-RZ and TB-M modulation format are shown the worst response in term of power penalty for super dense system. Furthermore, it has also declared that channel spacing of 100 GHz is shown the best compatibility in terms of least variation in bandwidth.
