Increasing Productivity through Real-Time Data Analysis
Networked, intelligent machines offer mechanical engineering and plant engineering companies preventive maintenance based on real-time data, allowing more efficient production planning and coordination. This leads to longer service life, increased uptime, improved productivity and the prevention of unplanned, costly downtime. Based on the Smart Cleaning concept, BvL is developing a system to record, process and utilise the data of the respective cleaning system intelligently. A sensor system integrated into the system, for example, records the wear of critical machine components in good time and transfers the information to a software platform. This platform analyses the real-time data so potential malfunctions can be identified or predicted in time. The maintenance plan for the team of service engineers is thereby optimised, allowing the targeted deployment of personnel.
Smart Cleaning apps include cleaning management and the data logger, for example. Such a technology update can be carried out on existing cleaning systems and integrated into both compact standard systems and complex systems. As the level of automation constantly increases, communication between machines is becoming highly important. A suitable networking solution is adapted to the individual situation and to customer requirements with regard to the downstream and upstream stations in the production process, and then implemented. In addition, remote servicing facilitates and supports handling of production and maintenance.
