Abstract

Solutions to the problem of development of the rare metal industry in Russia by virtue of the “Metallurgy” business strategy adopted at JSC “Chepetsky Mechanical Plant” (ChMP) are considered. Prospects for the simultaneous processing of loparite and eudialyte from the Lovozerskoye deposit group are presented as part of a strategy for achieving a number of specified indicators for the production of tantalum, niobium, zirconium, and rare-earth element (REE) products.
