Rebuttal on “Multi-criteria decision analysis for planning and management of groundwater resources in Balod District, India” by Kumar et al. (Environ Earth Sci 2016, 75(8):649)

Abstract
The discusser would like to acknowledge the scientific contribution of Kumar et al. (Environ Earth Sci 2016, 75(8):649) with respect to the application of an enhanced geographical information system-based multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) to determine the potential of artificial groundwater recharge zones in India. Although the authors have addressed potential description and provided some necessary information about analytical hierarchical process as an MCDA model along with evaluation of the assessment criteria, this article is plagued by some shortcomings which are demonstrated in this rebuttal.
