The Comment authors are thanked for their remarks on the subject article (Devlin 2015) about the HydrogeoSieveXL software. HydrogeoSieveXL is a tool introduced to help hydrogeologists quickly and easily generate preliminary hydraulic conductivity (K) estimations from grain-size data, using 15 estimation methods. It is shared at no cost and with full access to the code and spreadsheet formulae. It is available for researchers or professionals to use or modify as needed. The Comment authors provide a generally informative discussion, but it is misleading in a few of the details they mention concerning HydrogeoSieveXL. Some corrections to these perceptions are given here. …
