This study takes the non-English major students as the experimental subjects, conducting four-week extracurricular English interactive activities based on Twitter-like platform, whose feasibility has been positively proved by the data obtained from the pre-/post-questionnaire, the experimental study, the quantitative and qualitative analysis. To some extent, the interaction based on Twitter-like platform not only meets students’ interest in and needs for extracurricular English learning, and promotes their control over and motivation for learning, but also increases their involvement in extracurricular English learning activities.
