Natural gas is currently one of the most widely used sources of energy and its use is increasing. The buried pipelines transporting gas and fluid are mostly installed underground and near the highly populated zones and have various types of defects such as corrosion and environmentassist-cracking. The prediction of the remaining strength of pressurized pipelines containing corrosion defects has been frequently carried out using deterministic methods. These methods use the nominal values for both load and the resistance parameters. However, it is well known that the load and resistance parameters have uncertainties resulted from the measurement of the dimensions of defects, the manufacture of the pipe, the operating conditions of pipelines, and etc.
