Dieses Buch versucht, Shenzhens erfolgreiche Erfahrung mit innovativem Wachstum in den letzten 40 Jahren seit Chinas Reform und Öffnung zusammenzufassen. Basierend auf der Bewertung der Auswirkungen der Politik, die von der Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission in den Jahren 2013-2015 zur Unterstützung von Innovation und unternehmerischer Entwicklung von über 7.000 wissenschafts- und technologiebasierten kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) umgesetzt wurde, erklärt dieses Buch die wesentlichen Gründe für Shenzhens Innovationswunder sowie den intrinsischen Mechanismus und Effekt der Interaktion zwischen Shenzhens Regierung und dem Markt. Es zielt darauf ab, die Prinzipien des dahinterstehenden Mechanismus für einen innovativen und nachhaltigen Entwicklungspfad zu erforschen, der für globale Leser aufschlussreich in Bezug auf urbane Governance und Wirtschaftswachstum ist, insbesondere in Bezug auf die öffentliche Ordnung.

To sustain high-quality growth, the chapter recommends deepening institutional reforms, improving public services, strengthening talent and financial systems, and optimizing spatial strategies such as innovation corridors. It emphasizes that policy design should integrate with market forces and social systems to build a dynamic, resilient innovation ecosystem for the future.
