Abstract

Das Kapitel stellt die Simple Equations Method (SEsM) als leistungsstarkes Werkzeug zur Ableitung exakter Lösungen nichtlinearer Differentialgleichungen vor, insbesondere solcher, die für das SIR-Modell der epidemischen Ausbreitung relevant sind. Durch die Transformation und Vereinfachung dieser komplexen Systeme bietet SEsM einen systematischen Ansatz zum Verständnis der Dynamik von Epidemien wie COVID-19-Wellen. Die Methode wird anhand eines detaillierten Beispiels veranschaulicht, das ihre Wirksamkeit bei der Vorhersage der Entwicklung infizierter und gesunder Populationen demonstriert.
