Abstract

A model of the hybrid system has been developed to study the uncertainty of renewable stand-alone solar PV and wind hybrid system for distributed power generation based on the resources available at Sagar Island, a remote area distant to grid operation. Study has been made based on the real-life data to analyze the feasibility of the system and per unit generation cost of electricity. Optimization of the system has been made to reduce the uncertainty of the system.
