Abstract

Dieses Kapitel befasst sich mit dem Drei-Parameter-Kies-Modell, das als "deterministisches" Modell und als "polynomiales variables Transfermodell" modifiziert wurde. Diese Modifikationen verbessern die Anwendbarkeit des Modells auf spezifische Datenanalysen, insbesondere in den Bereichen Software-Zuverlässigkeit und Wachstumstheorie. Das Kapitel stellt Rechenbeispiele und Visualisierungen vor und zeigt die Wirksamkeit des Modells in verschiedenen Datensätzen, einschließlich Daten zu Halskrebs, Versagen und Grippe. Außerdem wird die Umsetzung des neuen Modells zur Regressionsanalyse diskutiert und sein Potenzial bei der Analyse komplexer Datensätze hervorgehoben.
