The 911 sports car has been redesigned by Porsche. In addition to the 911 Carrera, the Carrera GTS is also available, which is equipped with a lightweight performance hybrid drive.

The new 911 models can be recognized by the revised front with the enlarged cooling air openings. The Matrix LED headlights, which now come as standard, integrate all lighting functions in one housing. The HD Matrix LED headlights are optional. The GTS has five vertically arranged, active cooling air flaps in the lower section, and an adaptive front diffuser is also fitted for the first time. The sensors for the assistance systems are now located below the license plate. At the rear, the light strip has been redesigned alongside the cooling air grille. The sports exhaust system fitted as standard on the GTS is optional on the Carrera. The wheels measure 19" at the front and 20" at the rear or 20" and 21.

An aerokit is also available and includes a SportDesign front fascia with independent front spoiler, matching side sill panels and a weight-reduced fixed rear wing. In the interior, the instruments in the 12.6" "Curved Display" are now fully digital, and the 911 is also equipped with the familiar "Porsche Driver Experience" operating concept with a 10.9" touchscreen. For the first time, the Coupé variants are designed as two-seaters as standard, and the start button on the left-hand side of the cockpit is also new. Video streaming while stationary, Apple Carplay and Spotify are now also available in the sports car.

New 911 GTS with T-Hybrid

The 911 Carrera is equipped with a modified 3.0-liter biturbo boxer engine with biturbo charging and a new intercooler. The power output increases to 290 kW (389 hp) and the maximum torque is 450 Nm. The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission takes care of the shifting. The facelift 911 sprints to 100 km/h in 4.1 s, with the Sport Chrono Package in 3.9 s. The top speed is 294 km/h.

The 911 Carrera GTS is equipped with an electrified drivetrain that offers a system output of 398 kW (534 hp). The maximum system torque is 610 Nm. The newly developed 3.6-liter boxer engine has an output of 357 kW (479 hp) and works together with two electric motors. A newly developed electric turbocharger has been placed between the compressor and turbine wheel. The electric motor also works as a generator and produces up to 11 kW (15 hp). Power is transmitted via a reinforced eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox (PDK). The permanently excited synchronous machine integrated into this delivers up to 40 kW (54 hp). The energy is stored in a 1.9 kWh 400 V lithium-ion battery. The 911 Carrera GTS Coupé, which is 50 kg heavier than its predecessor, accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.0 s and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h.

The revised sports suspension with variable damper system in the GTS now features rear-axle steering as standard, as does Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) roll stabilization. The new 911 Carrera is now available to order as a Coupé and Cabriolet. In addition to rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and the Targa body variant (exclusively with all-wheel drive) are also available for the 911 Carrera GTS.
