Der Gedanke von attraktiven, wachsenden Märkten ist auch in der Risikokapital-Geber-Welt fest verankert. So sagte der Gründer von Sequoia Capital, einem der angesehensten Venture Capital Firmen im Silicon Valley, Don Valentine einmal, dass er es besonders mag in Märkte zu investieren „big enough that even management cannot get in its way“ (Homem de Mello und Francisco S. 2014).
