The extension of GKS to 3D has an effect on the state lists. All entries containing geometrical data have to be changed to accept a third coordinate. New primitives and new attributes give rise to new entries. The GKS state list, the workstation state list, the workstation description table and the segment state list are all affected by these changes. Tables 3.1, 4.1, 4.2 and 7.1 list all changes which must be made to produce the respective lists or tables in GKS-3D. The operating state, the GKS description table, and the error state list remain unchanged.
