Abstract
The interrelations between human beings and architecture could be found in the following analogies:
1.
Style, or the “look,” including face and figure corresponds to spatial design.
2.
Structure including skeletal frameworks and muscles corresponds to the dynamical structural technology.
3.
Sensory organs and circulation systems correspond to environmental psychology and thermal technology.
So far, the analogies mentioned above take into account the first and second stages of life. However, in order to develop the third stage of life (creation based on the personality with affection towards all creatures in the world) for human being, it is imperative that we also consider.

The brain consisting of the left and right hemispheres which react to temporal and spatial design considerations, respectively. Knowledge of the functioning of the brain, in turn, provides the tools for creating spaces for the manifestation of the third stage of life, which is based on the unique DNA of each individual. Therefore, it is highly recommended to develop spaces and facilities associated with the development of the human brain. The developmental stages of the cerebral hemispheres should be considered in the planning of houses and urban environments particularly for the sake of children who have special temporal windows for the maximum absorption of different types of knowledge related to each hemisphere. The most important time is between birth and starting school.
The dimension of the head of an unborn baby is relatively large compared to the rest of the body due to the fact that the head is initially developed in the womb (Fig. 8.2). After birth, newborns and children spend most of their time living in their house, surrounded by the neighbouring environment that is their nearest “universe.” The environment they are exposed to is their entire world, and it acts as a nonverbal teacher. Every stimulus in the house environment can be considered as a “teacher” in the early stages of life, including the timbre of the mother’s voice or the language she speaks. The environment in the early stages of life starting from the period of pregnancy to about 3 years of age may play a pivotal role in the development of each individual with a unique DNA. Thus, such a living environment of an individual right after birth may greatly influence the development of a personality that will cultivate different viewpoints on the world later on in life. The environment in a house should, therefore, be designed to nurture creativity in childhood, which is where a sense of individuality and unique personality starts. The third stage of life is the time for healthy creations to persist in the human society long after the end of the first and second lives. Healthy creations based on unique personalities could play a leading role in the establishment of lasting peace, because each individual has natural potential for unique creations that help to sustain life. As a first step, it is highly recommended to design living environments that promote the development of the human brain. A respective attempt is made here on a dwelling house that is the closest environment to man. Chapter 13 will continue to discuss the necessity for similar considerations in the initial design stages of regional and urban planning.
