What if that solid-looking rock-that one over there-turns out to be a porous maelstrom of whizzing particles in the void, particles so mysteriously unstable that they might occupy the same place at the same time or appear in two different spaces at once? The predication of the visible world as a predictable and substantial-seeming surface that masks a deeper, ever moving, ever open to unexpected permutations level of particle activity contradicts all common sense evidence.
