The paper deals with succession course on disturbed habitats in mountains of Murmansk province. Among the most successful invaders on small-scale disturbances of dry and mesic sites are reported differential species of associations Luzuletum arcuatae, Juncetum trifidi and Cetrarietum nivalis which belong to Alliances Salicion herbaceae, Saxifrago stellaris-Oxyrion digynae, Loiseleurio-Diapension, on mesic and fresh sites — differential species of Alliance. Cratoneurion commutati. The lands disturbed as a result of mining remain not covered by vegetation after more than 50 years the finishing of exploitation, but succession course doesn’t went off the course described for small-scale disturbed sites. Grasses tend to grow rapidly in fire pits, and the communities described on these sites belong to the associations Festuco — Cetrarietum nivalis, and Anthoxantho (alpini)-Deschampsietum flexuosae.
