There have been 49 Professional Ethics columns published in TechTrends since 2004. This column is number 50. Recently I have been reviewing what has been accomplished: 33 scenarios and 24 essays including annotations and some extensive editorial notes. The most important achievement is that it has been possible for the production department to print the varying observations and contemplative thoughts of 20 invited contributors (Table 1).
