This is an art gallery of programs from many subject areas using the graphics techniques, scrolling and menu selection from chapter 7, together with many other useful programming tips which help to link the building blocks together. These programs are primarily from the ‘instructional’ category and in particular from the worlds of
mathematics physics computing and languages.
The graphics techniques used can be directly applied to any subject area. Chapter 9 contains data processing programs for sorting, listing, tabulating and word processing, where use is made of BASIC strings and DIM statements. Table 8.1 lists the programs in this chapter, their subject area and the program techniques used. From this table you will be able to select and extract sections of the programs for your own use, or to add to one another to compose your own symphony. Yes, sound can be added also: I have refrained from using sound since video games have degraded computer sound for me and many other people.
