The term corporate social responsibility, CSR for short, has gained a lot of importance in the past few years. As a result the international ISO 26000 standard, which came into effect in November 2010, was designed so that society acts responsible. Next to just considering environmental sustainability further issues such as human rights, working conditions, fair business practice, customer interests and developing the local community have also come to the forefront. The ISO 26000 is thereby supposed to be a guideline for companies and help them meet expectations when taking on social responsibility (ISO, 2011).
