Stallardo’17 is the most successful racing car in the history of Rennstall. The racing car itself was designed and build to be an evolution of its previous from last year. The Team adopted the advantages and improved them even further. Nevertheless the quality of manufacturing in every sub-team has been improved. In order to get to know the car down to the last detail, the focus was on ensuring sufficient testing time. Sub-systems that were prone to error and caused breakdowns were replaced from the start with simpler and more reliable solutions. This meant that the testing time could be used effectively and, together with test-bench and validation data, provided valuable information that helped make the eleventh racing car from Esslingen successful. …
