Abstract

In the paper, the problem of determining the optimal communication structure (communication routes) for wireless or wired data communication networks with predefined structure of usable communication links was considered. The procedure of determining such structure, which is based on identifying and comparing of selected characteristics of the dendrites describing the network nodes and communication links, was developed. The correctness of the method has been confirmed by results obtained by comparative simulation studies of different communication substructures (dendrites). Simulation tests were prepared and implemented in Riverbed Modeler environment.
