In recent years, reverse logistics has been receiving increasing attention from academia and industry. There is increasing recognition that careful management can bring both environmental protection and lower costs; environmental and economic considerations have led to manufacturers taking their products back at the end of their lifetime. As a result, the reverse logistics process is now considered to be a basis for generating real economic value and to provide support for environmental concerns.
