  2. Chapter 1. Introduction

    Rebekka Süss
    Abstract
Emergency rescue services in Germany have been following a pronounced trend for several years. The number of emergency service call-outs has been steadily increasing, particularly those involving emergency physicians. However, in many cases, there is no life-threatening situation for the patient at the scene.
  3. Chapter 2. Fundamentals

    Rebekka Süss
    Abstract
Internal accounting deals with management accounting, particularly cost and revenue accounting as well as planning accounting. It is primarily designed for internal company use and is not subject to legal regulations. Cost and revenue accounting is divided into cost type accounting (What types of costs are incurred?), cost center accounting (Where are these costs incurred?), and cost unit accounting (For what purpose are these costs incurred?).
  4. Chapter 3. Methodology

    Rebekka Süss
    Abstract
This dissertation examines the deployment activities of emergency medical services throughout the entire V-G district. The impetus for this analysis is the tele-emergency doctor system, which has been tested on a project basis since 2017. To assess the impact of this innovative form of care, two key areas were analyzed.
  5. Chapter 4. Results

    Rebekka Süss
    Abstract
All available mission data from January 2015 through February 2020 were cleaned according to the methodology described in Sect. 3.2.2. In total, 177,674 advanced life support ambulance (RTW) and 81,431 emergency physician vehicle (NEF) deployments were available as raw data records. During the data cleaning process, 4% of the RTW and 4.8% of the NEF raw data were excluded from further analysis due to duplication or insufficient plausibility.
  6. Chapter 5. Discussion

    Rebekka Süss
    Abstract
The analysis of the deployment structure before and after the introduction of the TNA system clearly shows that several parameters have changed. The model region V-G is a popular Baltic Sea destination for many tourists, resulting in seasonal fluctuations in the number of deployments, particularly during the summer months. A pre-post comparison revealed a decrease in the average number of NEF deployments, accompanied by a slight increase in the average number of RTW deployments within the scope of primary emergency care.
  7. Chapter 6. Conclusion and Outlook

    Rebekka Süss
    Abstract
This paper presents the evaluation results of the implementation of an innovative care concept involving a telemedicine system in prehospital emergency care. The focus was on analyzing changes in incident statistics, determining the costs of the system, as well as examining the questions of transferability and optimization.
