ATZelektronik spoke with Dr. Corina Apachiţe, the head of the AI and data program at Continental Automotive, and Dr. Sighard Schräbler about the level achieved so far, the challenges of AI, and data-driven development.
Dr. Corina Apachiţe is a leading figure in the field of artificial intelligence and leads the AI department at Continental Automotive Technologies. She is a global ambassador for artificial intelligence and innovation and works together with experts worldwide to drive the economy and society forwards. Dr. Apachiţe has also participated in a TEDx-Event where she spoke about artificial intelligence.

Dr. Sighard Schräbler is a Senior Manager for new technologies and Senior Expert AI-Hardware at Continental Automotive Technologies. His fields of research include autonomy stack, data driven ecosystem, hybrid AI-classic algorithms, large language models and transformer networks, hardware accelerators with GPUs, high level synthesis with FPGA, quantum computing, quantum sensing and post quantum cryptography.
