It is, needless to say, a politically tumultuous time in the United States. The presidential election of 2016 both highlighted and exacerbated the growing partisan divisions that have come to characterize the country. Politics and policymaking under the Trump administration have only further intensified these divisions. It is also a time of significant technological and behavioral change, as the technologies, platforms, and sources that media consumers rely upon for news are undergoing a dramatic shift. …
