Abstract

Identification of goals is notorious difficult. This paper analyses human goals from both psychological and biological viewpoints. The application of Maslows pyramid provides a hierarchical structure on human goals. The detailed understanding of human goals supports goal modeling in goal oriented requirements engineering.
