The makers of the 1997 science fiction film "The Fifth Element" were highly unimaginative. Do you remember the taxi driver Korben Dallas played by Bruce Willis? His taxi flies through the street canyons of a megacity of the future, but these same events were portrayed in Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" exactly 70 years earlier. However, the lack of vision lies in the fact that the taxi driver of the future - the film takes place in 2263, in other words, in more than 240 years' time - can still control his vehicle manually. It is already unclear whether there will still be any taxi drivers in 50 years or so. If any sector of our economy is undergoing rapid and dramatic change, then it is mobility. …
