Abstract
Mobile applications usually fail to deliver the right set of features for its users, either by not offering necessary functionalities or by offering unnecessary ones. In the last few years, some modern Requirements Engineering methods have been created to better design mobile applications. One of these methodologies is the Crowdsourcing Requirements Engineering, based on short cycles of implementations and feedbacks by a large group of actual users. This work aims to validate the requirements of a mobile application for the management of domestic animals, through the use of crowndsourcing questionnaires. Two questionnaires were designed and implemented to assess the needs of the users. The first questionnaire verified functionalities provided by similar softwares, while the second one verified requirements established by the authors.
From the analysis of the data gathered, all requirements, except for one, were validated. Finally, after the final functionalities of the software were defined, an alpha version of the software could be created.
