Walter Isard: Scholar, Teacher and Founder

Rarely indeed does the opportunity occur to scholars to honour a colleague who is singularly identifiable as the creator of their intellectual disciplines. The authors of papers in these two volumes honouring Walter Isard in his seventieth year have enjoyed that privilige, whether their specialities be Regional Science or Peace Science.
