Thomas Illner will take over as Chief Operating Officer at Porsche Germany on May 1, 2024. He succeeds Martin Bothe, who is retiring after 26 years with the company. Illner joined Porsche Cars North America in 1998. He held positions in Germany and Switzerland, before moving to Porsche Cars Canada in 2010. There, he took over the management of the after sales department for five years and was responsible for the sales area from 2016. Since October 2022, he has had sales responsibility for Porsche Deutschland. Simultaneously with the appointment of Illner to this management position, the sales area will be transferred to the operations area.
