In addition to the more angular exterior design, the compact SUV has been given an upgraded interior and an updated infotainment system with integrated Google services.

After around three and a half years of construction, Nissan has redesigned the Qashqai. The design is much more angular and the front of the SUV has been completely redesigned. The structure in the new radiator grille is reminiscent of antique Japanese armored scales. The now triangular LED headlights are now equipped with an adaptive high beam module, while the two-part daytime running lights consist of the familiar upper strip and five small lenses in the grille. At the rear, the tail light graphics have been revised. Depending on the equipment, the Qashqai rolls on 19" or 20" alloy wheels.

New materials and seat covers are intended to enhance the interior. The new N-Design trim offers quilted black leather and Alcantara inserts. The "Around View Monitor" camera system has been enhanced for greater comfort. Thanks to a new 3D function, eight different camera perspectives can now be selected. The "View through the hood" mode is also new. The "Parking Spot Location Memory" function allows frequently used parking positions to be saved.

Infotainment System with Google Services

Thanks to integrated Google services, the "Google Assistant" voice assistant is also on board. The "Nissan Connect Services App" has also been further developed. In terms of driver assistance systems, improved risk detection of the autonomous emergency braking function should enable the system to react more quickly. The lane departure warning system and intelligent cruise control have also been revised.

The Nissan Qashqai is still available as a 1.5 VC-T e-Power. Propulsion is provided by a 140 kW (190 PS) electric motor, which sends power directly to the front wheels. The three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with variable compression ratio is only responsible for generating electricity in the ePower system.
