Frontmatter
Chapter 1. Introduction
Abstract
The excessive use of traditional fossil energy is a major challenge, as it leads to the global energy crisis and climate change.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 2. Aging Characteristic of Backsheet After Ultraviolet Radiation
Abstract
When solar radiation reaches the top of the atmosphere.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 3. Modeling of Effect of Roughness on Partial Discharge
Abstract
COMSOL Multiphysics is used to model the rough surfaces of PI materials.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 4. Aging Life Model of Insulating Material
Abstract
The partial discharge phase distribution spectrum contains the amplitude and frequency of partial discharge, and analyzes the factors affecting external gap discharge under the assumption that the frequency and size of internal cavity discharge are the same.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 5. Simulation of PI-Doped TiO2 Nanoparticles
Abstract
Based on the research in Chap. 2, UV radiation breaks the molecular chemical bonds on the surface of PI materials, resulting in changes in the surface morphology of the material, and accelerates the aging of PI film. Changes in the surface morphology of insulation materials can cause distortions in the electric field on the material surface, greatly increasing the likelihood of local discharge, thus increasing the size and amplitude of the discharge and shortening the service life of the material.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 6. Electrical Aging of Backsheet After Salt-Mist Exposure
Abstract
The PD is an electrical discharge, which is induced by uneven electric field due to defects of the insulations.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 7. Surface Charge Decay Characteristics
Abstract
During the operation of electrical equipment, due to the external electric field.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 8. Analysis of Physicochemical Characteristics
Abstract
To further understand the mechanism and characteristics of electrical aging of photovoltaic insulation backsheets under salt spray corrosion conditions.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 9. Electrical Aging Characteristics of Emerging Backsheets
Abstract
Currently, traditional PV backsheets are known for their good weather resistance.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 10. Theory and Design of Electrical Aging Test Platform Under Pulse and AC Voltage
Abstract
In order to study the electrical aging characteristics of aramid insulating paper under pulse voltage, a repetitive pulse voltage generation device with adjustable voltage parameters is built.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 11. Analysis of PD Characteristics Under Pulse and AC Voltage
Abstract
With the increased voltage level and self-power density of power equipment, it results in a significant voltage stress on the equipment insulation material.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
Chapter 12. Analysis of Physical and Chemical Properties of Aramid Insulating Paper After Pulse and AC Voltage Electrical Aging
Abstract
During the normal operation of electric vehicle drive motors, the aramid insulating paper in the stator slots needs to maintain excellent electrical performance under harsh voltage stress to provide reliable insulation protection between the phases and the ground.
Jia-Wei Zhang, Wei-Hang Deng, Chatchai Putson, Fouad Belhora, Abdelowahed Hajjaji
