Abstract

The possibility of controlling the acoustic transparency of resonator boundaries by using piezoactive materials is considered. For a piezoactive structure with a special type of boundary conditions, a stationary electroacoustic vibration problem is solved in the plane-wave approximation. Transient radiation mode of a pumped resonator is considered. Possible applications of resonators with controlled boundaries in underwater acoustics and ultrasonic echo sounding are indicated.
