In diesem Kapitel werden einige ausgewählte Entwicklungen diskutiert, die uns in den letzten Jahren aus verschiedensten Gründen aufgefallen sind. Diese Auswahl ist subjektiv. Wir können und wollen diese Entwicklungen nicht danach bewerten, ob sie sich eines Tages durchsetzen oder Laborkuriositäten bleiben. Die im Folgenden beschriebenen Beispiele sind vielmehr vor allem wegen ihrer Originalität interessant.
